Rifle Exploration’s projects are located in South Australia’s copper-rich regions, which are home to over 70% of Australia’s known Copper deposits. Copper remains an essential metal with new discoveries and increased production critical to meeting the future global demand. Without new discoveries, the supply gap is for Copper is projected to exceed 15Mt by 2035.

The Rifle Exploration Team brings together decades of expertise in mineral exploration and resource development, particularly within the emerging battery materials sectors.
With two decades of geological experience, Greg Swain specialises in project generation, on-ground exploration, and project lifecycle management. Greg has deep knowledge of copper exploration in the Gawler Craton and was integral to the discovery of BHP’s Oak Dam West Iron-Oxide Copper-Gold deposit.
Michael Schwarz brings over 25 years of experience in both senior corporate roles and in hands-on geology. As the founding Managing Director of iTech Minerals Ltd and former Managing Director of Northern Cobalt Ltd, Michael has a strong focus on the battery materials market.
Together, Michael and Greg provide the strategic vision and technical expertise to guide Rifle Exploration’s projects to success.
